Hi, I’m Autumn!
I’m a Metaphysical Counselor and Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. Although Nutritional Therapy may sound familiar to you, I know you may be questioning what a Metaphysical Counselor is, so here’s the nutshell version:
I communicate with the body in a way that is similar to storytelling. I am able to feel, see, and hear, what the body is holding on to that has created your story (i.e. beliefs, triggers, wounds, etc.) My job is to share those stories with you, which then allows you to consciously choose what you’d like to do about them. By honoring your story, you deepen your level of self love – which is the ultimate healer.
In my practice, I combine nearly 20 years of experience in the holistic health realm, my intuitive and psychic gifts as a Metaphysical Counselor, and my training as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner to take a deep dive into how we can best support you in your journey.
a little about me
I’ve always wanted to experience life on my own terms. Even as a young child, I never really felt normal (whatever that is?), and I certainly didn’t feel like I fit in. I had a hard time truly connecting with other people because I was always searching for the deeper meaning of everything. I wanted to know the why behind it all.
Growing up as a highly empathic and intuitive being, life was often very confusing and overwhelming. I could sense what no one was saying, which ultimately led me to choose many unhealthy coping mechanisms as a way of numbing myself from feeling so deeply.
When I was 15 years old I became a mother, which honestly saved my life. I was on a path of self-destruction, but Spirit stepped in and said, “Get your shit together, you have work to do”. Right then and there I made a decision: My life will have purpose, if not for me, for this child. I was tired of the expectations, societal standards of what was or wasn’t acceptable, the unspoken rules, and most of all – the things people weren’t talking about.
and so, my Thriving Rebel journey began
Throughout my quest to Thrive, I’ve faced many emotional and physical challenges, including multiple forms of trauma, near death experience, loss of a child, PTSD, severe depression, anxiety, and many other chronic health issues.
In addition to my own experiences, I have also learned from my family; with my second child being autistic, my third having Kawasaki Disease, and my husband who is a former Marine with quite a Thriving Rebel story of his own.
So when I say I am in it with you – I am truly, forever, in it with you.
In my opinion, thriving is about leaning into the hard times – the lessons, the heartache, and the fuckery. Healing is within the process of our transformation, which is the alchemy of our lives.
In order to fully thrive, we must be willing to go through the darkness, feeling everything there is to feel, meet it face to face, and heal it with love.
Over the many years of my own journey, here’s what I know to be true:
Healing is messy. It is not linear. It is not always kind, glamorous, or graceful. It can be relentless, tragic, and utter chaos. Life is weird. And hard. And sad… but also incredibly beautiful when you let it be.
my background
I started my career working in a chiropractic office, assisting with patient protocols through intuitive guidance, energetic/muscle testing, and mentored in functional nutrition, herbs and homeopathy.
In 2008, I co-developed a quantum muscle testing technique called Morphogenic Field Technique, which has now been taught nationally to thousands of healthcare providers.
In 2009, I graduated as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP) and started my own nutritional and intuitive healing practice.
I am currently in the process of earning my Doctoral degree in Theocentric Psychology, and hold nearly 2,000 hours of continuing education in clinical nutrition, herbal and homeopathic remedies, metaphysical science, energetic, psychic, and emotional healing.
I’ve worked with clients internationally providing support through private and group counseling, as well as nutritional therapy services.
I am so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to welcome you to the community!
